The short version

Every calculator on this site runs in your browser. The numbers you type — salary, hours, commute, offer details — are processed by JavaScript on your own device and are never transmitted to us or to anyone else. There is no account, no sign-up, and no database holding your inputs.

What we do not collect

No calculator inputs. Nothing you enter into a form field is sent over the network. You can verify this by opening your browser's developer tools and watching the network tab while you use a tool: no request containing your figures is made.
No account data. There is no registration, login, email capture or profile of any kind.
No contact details unless you email us. If you send us a message, we have that message and your address, and we use them only to reply.
Nothing is hidden in shared links. Each calculator has a "Copy link" button that puts your inputs into the link itself, after the # symbol. That part of a web address is not transmitted to any server — it stays in your browser and in whatever message you paste it into. Nobody sees your figures unless you send them the link.

What is collected automatically

Like most websites, the hosting provider records standard technical information needed to serve pages: IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp. This is server access logging, used for security and troubleshooting. We do not use it to build profiles of individual visitors.

Cookies and advertising

The site is funded by advertising. Advertising partners, including Google, may set cookies or use similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this and other sites. You can control ad personalisation through Google Ads Settings, and you can opt out of many third-party advertising cookies through industry opt-out pages.

Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that serve its ads at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Third-party services

Hosting and delivery. Pages are served through a content delivery network, which handles standard request logs.
Advertising. Ad partners may collect data subject to their own policies, which we do not control.

Children

This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
